Will The Gate be open to the public?
Yes! The Gate will be open for public use.
Do I need a membership to play at The Gate?
No! You do not need a membership to play at The Gate. We will operate as a daily fee course. St. John County residents will receive 40% off of posted green fees during the winter season (November 1 to April 30) and 20% off during the summer season (May 1 to October 31), when rates will be lower to begin with. Facilities & Course Details
Does the driving range have lights?
Yes, the driving range will be lit for evening practice.
Can I play 18 holes or only 9?
You will have the option to play both 18 and 9 holes.
What does the practice complex consist of?
- A covered and lit driving range
- An 18-hole Himalaya-style putting green
Is the course walkable?
Yes, the course is designed to be walkable.
What type of grass will be used on the greens, fairways, and driving range?
- Tif-Eagle for greens.
- Celebration Bermuda for fairways, roughs, and the landing area of the driving range. While no grass tee is available on the range, our synthetic turf ensures consistency and durability for every shot.
Food & Beverages
Will food and beverage options be available?
Yes! The Gate will feature:
- Oakwood Grill – A full-service restaurant open for lunch and dinner.
- Concessions – Offering breakfast options, food and bar service for golfers, and practice area visitors
Events & Reservations
Can I reserve the hitting bays and Pavilion for an event?
Yes, reservations will be available.
Can I host a corporate or charity golf outing at The Gate?
